Hundred Blades vs. Vow of Strength
Comparing the skill descriptions between these two skills, it seems as though they are exactly the same except that Vow of Strength has a shorter cool-down by five seconds...
Is this... fair for warriors? I feel like I must be missing something. The only justification I can see for this is that warriors have higher armor against physical damage than dervishes and so warrior damage is meant to be slightly lower in a trade-off for more durability.

VoS is an Enchantment: it has a casting time (1/4 sec) and can be removed.
100b is a skill: it casts instantly and can not be removed.
Just some more comparison points.

This. 100B is non-strippable. VoS is. If you have enough cover enchantments or aren't facing a lot of enchant stripping, then VoS is better. If you are though, 100B is a winner.

There are many ways in which Dervishes are OP compared to Warriors. VoS is not one of them. They seem to be pretty fair to me-- VoS can almost be maintained with an enchanting mod, but is easily stripped and has a cast time.

as i used both and like what was said before VoS can be stripped has a casting time while 100b dosent and cant be removed although a warrior with VoS, whirl wind attack, farmers scythe, zealous sweep, sand shards and ebsoh or i am the strongest with a zealous scythe of enchantments and 15^enchanted with alot of energy runes will put out more overall dmg then a sword + any 100b build you have to get crit hits all the time while the sword puts out more even dmg with or without crit hits now if warriors cunning recharge was lowered to say 10 secs instead of 60 and fear me % was increased and works on moving or stationary foes then VoS would be way better than 100b as warrior

Consider this :
Hundred Blades is a Swordmanship skill, meaning you will need a sword to
use it.
While Vow of Strength on the other hand,
Quote:
The range of the scythe is slightly larger than adjacent and is not the same as that used by Cyclone Axe or Ancestors' Rage.
|
So Vow of Strength combined with a scythe ( You actually need a scythe for it
to do it's thing.
Quote:
Elite Enchantment Spell. (15 seconds.) When you attack with a scythe, deals 10...22...25 slashing damage to adjacent foes.
|
So it all depends on what attribute your using.
But on my opinion, Vow of Strength is way better at Mob - Annihilation than
a Hundred Blades skill.

The real drawback of Vos vs. 100b is the attribute split.
100b is a sword elite, pairing it with sword attacks+WWA = gg.
Vos is a EARTH elite, which means at least a 3 way split (for earth-vos- , scythe -attacks- and myst -reduced vos cost).
Then as said one is no cast/no strip, the other has cast and can be stripped but have better (if not full with mods/other skills) upkeep.

Vow of Strength is an enchantment spell which is easily moved to the
Overpowered list by adding simple skills like Sand Shards,Farmer's Scythe, Mystic Vigor and some others.
The fact is that, Dervishs don't have a ''real'' position in Guild Wars,
Quote:
Warriors are the Front liners

Rangers are the Ranged Middle line

Necromancers are the debuff class

Ritualists are the ancestral healers (Defense/Offense)

Assassins are the melee - Spikers

Quote:
Paragons are the ''leaders'' which give buffs to his party

Dervishs : ''OP Mob Killer'' ?

The position Dervishs have makes no sense to me.
[Note] : I'm still a Dervish though
